AIDS 2014 Leadership and Accountability Programme Committee (LAPC) Terms of Reference

1. PURPOSE:
The purpose of the committee is to provide overall planning and guidance for the development of the Leadership and Accountability Programme at the XX International AIDS Conference in July 2014 in Melbourne, Australia.
The committee is comprised of co-chairs and committee members.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of committee members is that of volunteer and there is no remuneration for participating. Travel and related expenses are covered by the conference budget with the exception of members affiliated with sponsoring institutions that have previously agreed to cover costs. Previous committee members have found that the position can be intermittently demanding and requires some dedicated time outside of scheduled meetings (approximately 2-5 hours per week).
