Community Organizing Partners

The Community Organizing Partners are the NGOs who represent community and civil society in the organizing of the International AIDS Conference. For AIDS 2008 these include the International Council of AIDS Service Organizations (ICASO), the Global Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (GNP+) and the International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (ICW) as a joint ‘seat’, the Asian Harm Reduction Network (AHRN), the World YWCA, Ave de Mexico, and Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF). In addition, the Mexican organizations Red Mexicana de Personas que Viven con VIH/SIDA, Colectivo Sol, and Amigos Contra el SIDA are key local partners and many other people from civil society and community sit on programme committees and working groups.
