Outreach Activities

Description

Outreach activities engage communities in the Conference, both locally (within the host country) and internationally. Most outreach activities occur about 6-12 months before the Conference and aim to maximize the involvement of people living with HIV, community-based organizations and groups. For example, this guide was developed by GNP+ and ICASO as an outreach activity.

Another example of outreach is the Community Engagement Tours (at both the Bangkok and Toronto conferences), which arranged visits for delegates to local organizations involved in AIDS work.
