Cultural Activities Programme

Deadline for submission: 19 February 2008

Description

The Cultural Activities Programme has been an integral part of the International AIDS Conferences for many years including at Toronto. The Cultural Activities Programme reflects how arts and culture are widely used by diverse communities all over the world to deal with HIV stigma, discrimination, prevention, care and treatment, and many other issues. Many organizations and groups use performance/visual art to educate communities about HIV and AIDS.

Remember that not all elements of the Cultural Activities Programme in Toronto will be the same in Mexico City. Check the AIDS 2008 website for details.
